am i going to be infected?
« on: November 06, 2011, 12:55:34 am »
hi all,

I have read all the postings from different people about oral sex. and i found no risk answers and somehow i became calm down

I am 23 yrs old male and heres my story...

it happened 3 days ago. I was celebrating my friends birthday party and heading back home i met an woman. i didnt have the condom so she gave me the blow job. and i presume that she has HIV. I was drunk but still i didnt have vaginal and anal sex with her. I did fingering and penetrate my finger inside her vagina...

later on i found my finger has pulled skin with no blood just the skin was pulled down.... and i had a pimple type of wound on my penis but not at the head.... so she gave me the blow job and the question is if she has also the wound inside her mouth then will i be infected.....

Before posting this message i read other posting too... and one guy has had pimples on his penis and he was also worrying if he will be infected by HIV and your answers were no....

Thanks in advance and sorry for my poor english....

None of the activity you describe puts you at any risk for HIV

This is absolutely NOT an HIV situation.

"Many people, especially in the gay community, turn to oral sex as a safer alternative in the age of AIDS. And with HIV rates rising, people need to remember that oral sex is safer sex. It's a reasonable alternative."

apa,

If you feel unwell, see a doctor. Whatever is going on has nothing to do with hiv. You did NOT have a risk for hiv infection.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST SPECIFICALLY OVER A BLOWJOB OR FINGERING, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

You did not have a risk for HIV. There is no need for HIV testing. And yes, get on with your life. Happily, HIV is not your problem.

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

You need to move on with your life. How many ways and times can we say the same thing: NO RISK!

Doubts and fears are not facts. And the facts of the situation as you have reported them equal no risk.

At this point I am going to caution you that if you continue to return with more what ifs about this non-risk situation, you may find yourself getting a 28 day Time Out.

You have no cause to be concerned about HIV. Period.
