Back to work
« on: March 17, 2014, 04:23:14 pm »
I had 2 weeks annual leave(at home.....not feeling great),went back to work and was then off for 2 wks unwell yet again!Chest infection, high BP, pain  in legs/feet, fatigue, gastric pain....etc!

I've been really worried re taking time off ,  but thats just typical of me,but because my work are aware of my diagnosis, they have actually been okay towards me(so far!!)

Im returning on wednesday.....so will let you know what happens.
I know its so difficult to disclose but here in the UK, we are protected , upon point of diagnosis re employment...it was a really hard decision for me but im glad I did in dec 2012, so it took me 10 months after aids diagnosis.

For any newbies who dont know me, i only work part time now after yrs of 70 to 80 hr weeks.

Take care Brit and look after yourself , I know that its differcult managing the stuff that comes up about illness and work , but for there part they will want to do a good job by you and , depending on who you work for {how big the organization } it will not be the first instance off an employee managing health issues through HIV.

Just concentrate on getting as well as you can at the moment.
