Any other Identical Twins out there ?
« on: August 19, 2013, 12:46:14 pm »

I'm  finding it harder and harder to communicate with my twin ,  I find my sisters
are avoiding the HIV / AIDS issue altogether .
I just do not think they get it that I am not up to par .
The night before last it was insinuated my condition is merely that a condition .
 WTF ?
I'm working like a dog next to my twin everyday , we barely speak a word . He will
not allow me to play music as I work , It really makes my day  pleasant to listen
to golden oldies . he says it annoys him ?
He has  some serious Mental issues , I know that to be true ,  But I would think
with his own twin he could open up , at least a little . NOPE !
I feel like a prisoner in his home , I sleep downstairs , he sleeps upstairs , we have no talk at dinner ?    Bob and I keep our dinner time special .   Last night was family time   , two sisters and a horrid niece , it turned into a bitch fest ! I being screamed at to shut the hell up
 :(    I did after I was done talking ..............
Maybe this is my August Rant ?   I'm not even sure when I left Bob anymore ?
Bad enough my memory is screwy ......

                                      Signed , Weasel is lonely

P.S.  I can't wait for the Beach House to be done  :-X
So I can go home to Bob  and Molt  :)

I have a habit of eating before I go somewhere so unfortunately my twin never saw anything but my diaper .

Seriously ... I can relate to the brother thing , we are not twins but my brother is an ass and has always been an ass , so I avoid him . It has gotten better over the years and although I am not the type to carry grudges I cant forget all the nasty things he put me through . I'm pleasant to him and love him but because of our past being friends with him is a bridge too for me . I have let him know if he ever needs me I will be there but until that happens I'm happy with keeping my distance .

Its sometimes hard to see a relationship when your in the middle of one but I have learned that for the most part people will treat you the way you let them . When I stopped taking my brothers crap his attitude changed for the better , most times .

So  I brought up a conversation on Happiness at dinner .

I was told to drop the crap as it is his life and his JOB has ruined
  his life beyond repair !

I give up !    Years  ago   my uncle told me  :  IT IS CALLED WORK FOR A REASON !
I never forgot that , nor did I make my work my life , Well i did in a way , I build
Cabinets to this day and love every minute of it .
My twin resents having to help my sister with her Beach Cottage repair  :-[
I only want him to be happy , I am not happy 24 / 7  , But i sure as HELL try to have a good time everyday !
He says at 62 he is no longer concerned with happy !   I am going to be 59
next Thursday ! Not 63 !!!!!   He is wacked !
I have not seen so many pills consumed  since I was going to the RamRod in Greenwich Village 40 years ago !
Tomorrow will bring another day of  aggravation , as he does not raise from the dead until NOON .

                                                     Weasel

P.S. :  My older brother  was a gem !  He was the kindest ,happiest guy on
Earth . GOD took him 16  years ago at the age of 52  :'(

Twin?  Yes.  Identical?  No.

and you're spot on about August. The sultry, dog days of summer. They're just ungodly and although i love my brother I couldn't think of anything worse than being with him 24/7 anytime of the year, much less August. He's a forester/farmer and I get my hay for the horses and donkey from him. That's about 3 times/year and that's it. We used to go rafting together but he doesn't ask me to go with him anymore. He thinks I'm too sick and can't handle the oars, I guess. Maybe he's right. He's awfully smart. Anyway he lives 2 hours away so I suppose we could see more of each other but, well, we're busy, I guess.

His daughter is getting married next month in Jackson, Wy. He, my 4 other brothers, and I will all get together, probably for the last time. His daughter is the last of that generation to get married. It will be another 20 years at least before there is another family wedding and by then I'll be 83.  Unless I get a boy toy to escort me, I think I'll be staying home.

We get along OK. I wish I was a cabinet maker. The steps on the back deck rotted out so Mike and I are making new ones. We came up a step short. How did that happen?

no  twins  here  but we ,   brother  and sisters ,  are  one year  apart... I  hold the  old  rule  sacred    ......  " relatives  and fish  stink  after  3 days"  ...so  dont plan on being in close  contact  for more than that

I had a twin sister who has since passed away. Even though I am a guy, she and I were nearly physically identical from certain angles (from the back and neck up on side profile) through to our early twenties.

Also, we both started our first jobs as secretaries and could type over 80 wpm and do fierce Gregg Shorthand like nobody's business.  :)

We each had one child--she a daughter and me a son.
