If there is one thing I can't stand are these aggressive losers.

Yesterday 'Save the Children' were out en masse.
I was approached 4 times in less than 5 mins, I always acknowledge them but keep on walking.

#1 "Would you like to help save the children?"
My reply, "I've alresdy got 6 of my own that I'm trying to save"

#2 (with outstretched hand) "Hi, what's your name?"
My reply, "It dosen't matter"

#3 "Hi, how many kids do you have?"
reply, "6"
#3 reply "dude you've got 6 kids?"
which he then shouted across the way to his buddy "Dude he's got 6 kids"

#4 basically same as #1.

I think I was  being more humorus than rude. Though I don't really care.
I realise they r doing their job and get refusals all day long, I was trying to inject a laugh.

i'm rude, no pretense at all, if they continue it then becomes a game of just how rude do i have to be to get them to walk away

I am telling you my method of dealing with telemarketers is far more efficient that the national do not call list . I have not had one single repeat call from any company that I have creeped out . I have had them ignore me when I ask to be taken off the list but the Merv the perv routine works like a charm every time .
