ivf/icsi in London
« on: August 03, 2010, 01:12:42 pm »
Hello

Just joined today and glad I found this site.  My husband and I are both positive and have been trying for a baby for 3 yrs.  We have had 2 cycles of ivf/icsi at the chelsea and westminster in London but Im still not pregnant  :(.  Does anyone know of any other clinics in Europe, the world or UK that we can go to? Most clinics wont touch us with a barge pole because of diagnosis.  Im currenly on viramune, viread and zidovudine.  I wonder if any of these drugs are causing implantation failure?
I have been pregnant in the past quite easily and wonder what's going on now.  Does anyone have any advise on how I can get pregnant quickly?  We have sex regularly more so around my ovulation time and do all the basic things but still aint pregnant.  Please help someone.  Any doc you know of? We are willing to travel and have treatment elsewhere if it means having a better result of pregnancy x x x xx

I was pregnant with a different man before and that's how I found out abt my status.  I had a termination as I thought you cud never have a neg child. How I regret that now.  My dh has had 2 kids from a previuos marriage and had vasectomomy which was  reversed later in life. This is why we are having probs with his sperm counts etc. Any advice on increasing spermcounts and fertility? x

Oh gosh, I'm sorry I have no idea about that...I do know that a previous termination doesn't afftect YOUR fertility.  Meds and condition aside it would seem that that reverse op may have caused some problems tho I presume his fertility has been checked with your ivf procedures....I hope you can get some answers.  Otherwise it's just a waiting game and I hope mother nature smiles upon you both again  :)
