My First Results since Starting Atripla on Oct. 7th
« on: March 07, 2012, 08:51:49 pm »
Well it has been awhile since I last wrote. I am happy to report that my treatment has been working. I started Atripla on Oct. 7th and just got my test results this week since starting treatment. My viral load is 47, down from 103,111 and my CD4 count went from 290 to 420 so it is very encouraging news. All other tests are normal, urine is good no kidney issues, all in all, it is good. Doc says next time we do blood work first week of April we should see it drop to undetectable.
I have to say , so far in the 4 months of taking Atripla I have no problems with the drug, smooth sailing, knock on wood! It certainly takes the worry off my shoulders knowing that I have been responding well to the treatment!  :)
