Victimized at work
« on: October 26, 2009, 08:10:52 pm »
For years I've been victimized by Queens. My manager is a lesbian who thinks I should would work 10-12 hour days. But I've been victimized by nelly queens at work. I was told that that never happened. What am I to do? HELP!
Tested POZ in 1986, knew there was something wrong in 1985. 04/2010 CD4: 975 Viral Load undetectable. Prezista, Norvir, Truvada, Acyclovir, Plavix, Lisinopril, Metoprolol and a bedtime snack of Lipitor (YUM)

I looked through your previous posts and discovered you've been complaining about your manager and how she makes you work long hours for at least two years. Maybe it's time you went over her head to her supervisor? Maybe you could discuss having few hours with that person.

You work for a division of Boeing, don't you? In that case, you might also want to look into FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) as Boeing is definitely a company big enough to come under FMLA. Read the fact sheet I linked you to; you would be eligible for personal leave, it's not just in the case of a family member's illness. You might be able to use that to get time off now and then.

Good luck.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

I take great offense to your implying, that because your boss is a lesbian, she forces you to work long hours.  What difference does it make if she is a lesbian?  She forces you to work long hours, because SHE IS YOUR BOSS, not because of her sexuality.  One has nothing to do with the other, and for you to suggest otherwise is absurd and incredibly insulting.  The same can be said regarding your comments about nelly queens.

The long work hours I get, but, what in the hell does being victimized by Nelly Queens at work mean, you said that your Boss was Gay? are you? and are any of the other co-workers Gay as well, I'm a little  confused here  ::)

I'm with denb45 and iforsyth. Im very confused about your comments. Perhaps you need to back up and explain what you mean. What's the deal with being "Victomized" by Nellie Queens. Do you have a problems with homosexuality? Please enlighten us.
