oh, now you're going to make me feel bad, because you're so nice, and it wasn't meant to be serious.
I'm a bit twisted with these things, though.
Regardless, you're a sweetheart, Jan.

We had Country music too.  I called my BF "Larry-Bob", my dog "Kaiser-Bob" and Mom was "Mom-Bob."  I felt sorry for the kid next door "Be-Bob" because he tried to sing Elvis as a child and the name Be Bob-a- Lu Lu kinda stuck.  ;D  Have the best day

You all may like this newer version too. When I watched this sometime back, it brought a tear to my eye. Youtube removed the original video for copyright reasons but I found another site that host it. Enjoy. :-*

I love that poem but I didn't like the songs or videos. I really wanted it read at my dad's funeral but some how it got missed. When my mom died my cousin read it. She does a lot of church readings and it was amazing. My mom worked nights for 21 years and her favorite song was Sammi Smith's "Help me make it through the night". I had that song played right before the poem was read.
I have the poem framed and beside both their ashes. The only change that I would make to the poem would be to put in a verse about friends and family. While your on earth your friends and family do a lot of carrying so I think their foot prints should be included too.
