Isentress and Tadalafil (cialis) - zzzzzzzz
« on: June 29, 2011, 05:30:48 pm »
Tadalafil used to be the bomb, but it doesn't seem to do much now that I'm on Isentress. However, good old viagra, which I never much liked, works.

The research says nothing about Isentress and Tadalafil - other than no "expected interaction".

Anyone else have personal experience???

Just curious, since I started Atripla I have had a constant boner.  I have talked to others who take Atripla an have been told its a common side effect.  I take it the same is not true of Isentress?

If you're referring to Cialis, I'll try it out next time I'm intimate.  My doc prescribed Cialis when I requested it.   I have like a 5-day supply my doc gave me as a trial.  I have a few left, but I haven't used any since being on Isentress.  Maybe I'll craigslist it up tonight and give you a full report.

If I ever was given the option to take a different ARV besides Atripla it would have to be a damn good reason.  The best part about it is the boners (cept they wake me up every night while I sleep--I know tmi!!)

I've never taken Cialis or Viagra before but I can only imagine what would happen if you did while on Atripla.  I think you would end up being one of those people in the commericals they warn you about with the 4 hour erections!

I don't know why Atripla doesnt put it in bold letters on the bottles...Atripla causes boners. HAHAH

Bug, I'm glad the Atripla is giving you wood, but its really not the question in this thread now, is it?

Yeah it would work all weekend before Isentress.  Reports appreciated. And enjoy the "experiment"!

I take it occasionally (on isentress/truvada here) and it still works over a 3 day period and I don't even take the full dose since I am a small framed guy. Rock hard wood and all.

I take Viraday (Generic Atripla) and I have found that Cialis does not work on me, however, Viagra does just peachy...

How in the hell can I get my Viraday to give me a constant boner????

Oh wait...if I had a constant boner, I may never get any work done!   :P

Question : does having those constant Atripla boners also mean that you are constantly horny ?. I remember in the past waking up at times with a boner, but I wasn't necessarily horny. Seems to me rather a nuisance having a boner and not feeling horny.

Another question : Having taken Cialis or Viagra; are you able to have multiple orgasms, or does it just delays reaching an orgasm and  prolongs the duration of your erection ?

Thanks thats useful info!
Thats the effect I used to have on half a pill. Now nothing.
Maybe I fell on two bad generic versions in a row, though.  I'll get some from local pharmacy and try.  But its 110 bucks for 4 pills here, no joke!

Depends what you mean by "multiple orgasms".  Do you mean shooting and then shooting again in a minute or two during the same sex act?  This is quite rare for men.  And I don't think ED medicine has any impact whatsoever.

My experience with ED medicine is that is does not DELAY orgasm nor speed it up.  It gives me hard wood if I am excited.

One dose of Cialis would do that for 2-3 days.  As reported on the pack and by many takers.  Viagra is good for a few hours.

Hi Mecch,
yeah i second that, the wood is good.  my doctor gives me a few samples everytime i go for a visit, if I want.  I don't have much trouble except once in a while some performance anxiety, Cialis seems to help out a lot.  It doesn't do anything for a multiple orgasm

I hate to be really nosey, but I'm just kind of curious. Aren't some of you a bit young to be needing this? I mean have you actually been diagnosed with ED or is this just something you do because it's fun, or is it just a matter of going on for 5 hours instead of 1 hour?

I'm just kind of confused.

I got some occassional ED when I got depressed when I was negative and my longterm bf turned positive.  The relationship when downhill and after we broke up I went on SSRIs and again sometimes ED.  That's when I first tried cialis.

After I got HIV a few years ago, I had some performance anxiety and tried it again and it really was the ticket to satisfying sex, especially since the last year the men I've met have more likely wanted me to be active.

Sex marathons are long ago my dear.

Mikey aren't you on Atripla?  It has a strong interaction with erectile dysfunction drugs, specifically mentioning Cialis and Viagra.
