I've been roasting a Boston Butt roast for 3 hours now. The fat has crisped to a nice crust and the meet is falling off the bone... stuff just melts in your mouth. This is what they normally use for pulled pork.
Gave the sucker a little vinegar bath before I seasoned it up, both my little girls can't wait to eat! I am going to make some dirty mash potatos and some black-eye peas with some bacon drippings as the base.... Sitting here typing this has me thinking I need to make some cornbread too!!

Oh fierce, I just read that Bobby Flay is opening up a hamburger place next month around the corner from my dentist at U-Penn. Combine that with the newest Five Guys around the corner from my HIV specialist and I'm just going to have the most awesome lipid panel this summer.

He was on South Beach for one of the food festivals back in 98, if I can remember correctly his area was directly behind the Blue Door Restaurant/Delano Hotel. All his food was extremely good.. I can only imagine the exotic pepper sauces those burgers will be garnished with and I bet his cheddar cheese is smoked...lol.

I WAS craving the past, for a while.
