Oh I dunno. I fancy dying from a massive heart attack more than the complications of PML.

It doesn't surprise me that there were lies and information withheld. The pharmaceuticals have done it before. It's easy to do when you have a federal government that lies and withholds info all the time.

I've been on Abacavir for for a little over 4 and a half years now. But I will be bringing up this discussion with my doctor, on the next visit, to get his input ... Meantime, I am undetectable, and have no heart problems at this point.

I'm on Trizivir, which has Abacavir in it.  And I have two faulty heart valves.  I will definitely bring this up with my doctor.

Really, is there any medications taken long enough that won't cause other problems down the road? Heart, liver, kidney, vision and diabetes? With HIV/AIDS I have to get checked every year for all of them not saying my age doesn't have anything to do with it.  ;)
