I fully expected to see a head with cartoon bubble clouds of Barbara Streisand, Interior Design, and scenes from Musicals.  Interesting article though.

Perfect symetry is boring anyway.  ::)
The Bible contains 6 admonishments to homosexuals,
and 362 to heterosexuals.
This doesn't mean that God doesn't love heterosexuals,
It's just that they need more supervision.

"We know from studies that men, regardless of their sexual orientation, retain masculine characteristics when it comes to their sexual behavior," he says. Both gay and straight men, for example, tend to prefer younger partners, in contrast to women, who gravitate toward older partners. Most men are also more likely than women to engage in casual sex, and to be aroused by visual stimuli. "So I expect that some regions of the brain will remain masculine even in gay men," says Vilain.

Bullocks! Full of stereotypes and gaps in logic. For instance if gay men prefer younger partners, then who are the younger gays who go out with older guys? And on and on and on.

Hey did you know - "vilain" in French means "hideous" and "ugly".

"Sur le plan physique, cet adjectif désigne "ce qui est désagréable à voir, ce qui est laid, hideux". On retrouve alors la connotation péjorative."

Good name for this researcher!

Ya see now I always thought I was gay because I'm a man (albeit trans) who is attracted to other men. Isn't that what being gay is all about?

My Cousin Marvel Ann wanted to here what men were like in San Francisco:

In San Francisco, they have men who kiss women on their private parts... They call them studs!
In San Francisco, they have women who kiss men on their private parts... They call them "bad girls!"
In San Francisco, they have women who kiss other women on their private parts... They call them "lesbians!"
In San Francisco, they have men who kiss other men on their private parts... I call mine "precious!"   ;D  Have the best day

No, I came this way, straight from the factory. Do I wonder why I was born gay? No, I'm thankful, because even though I lived closeted for a part of my life, embracing my sexuality honestly has been more fulfilling, than being "straight" ever was. I know that being poz has formed my life, because I've been poz for so long, that I can barely remember the time when I was not.

I will never understand how anyone has the right to question the sexuality of anyone, for any reason. I don't go around asking straight people, if they are straight, so why do so many of them care, that I am gay. Since moving to Canada, I see how a culture can be, in their acceptance of all their citizens, by granting everyone the SAME EXACT AND EQUAL rights. I was so hurt, by the fact that my own adoptive country, refused to recognize me as equal and was equally grateful that providence had granted me dual citizenship's that allowed us to return to Canada.

Do I ever wonder why I am gay? Nope. But I do give thanks, every day, for the fact that I am.

Those who know me know I grew up in South Carolina in the deep stretches of country. I was raised by my grandparents (product of a teenage pregnancy) am next to the youngest of 10 in my family and the only one ever graduate high school most less go to college.  I was pretty out going in high school played sports, etc. Anyway, when I was 21, it was 1991 and there was this really great article in Poplar Science I believe, about how gay peoples’ brains differ from that of straight people.  I was visiting my family and had been reading this article and had left it lying on the table, not on purpose, but my younger sibling needed some help with his home work or something like that and I went into his room.  About 20 minutes later, my grandmother came into his room sat on the bed and told how she knew all along.  I being confused about what she knew was like well that is good, and what made you realize, she started listing these things, events and mannerisms that I had during my youth. That was the beginning of me coming to terms with my homoism, I am the same person I have always been, but I am lucky to know unconditional love.  Regardless what made you how, or who you are.  You ultimately have to be true to yourself.  D
Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.
