Title: 3rd week on Complera....Will being tired ever go away?
Post by: strongbrownguy on February 19, 2013, 01:29:30 pm
Hey guys, Posted before about Complera. So far, no major bad side effects. Thank goodness. But, I do find I have moments where I tired, but I chalk that up to me sometimes waking up a few times throughout the night.Which makes me wonder if it's doing what it's supposed to. Nonetheless, I take it every morning with my breakfast. I make sure it's a pretty hearty one too. Also a big shout out of Thanks to NEWT and ANNIEBC. I had an appointment with my ID doc, she says that splitting the pill shouldn't be a problem and we'll make sure and see, when I go back to have my blood redrawn to see my new numbers. ANNIEBC you suggested taking it with milk or a fizzy drink. Well.... I have found that ultimately it goes does better for me with a fizzy drink... I'll keep you all updated. Labs pre-complera CD4-640 VL-15,515. Crossing fingers it works.

funny that you posted this because it has done well for me but the conversation about being worn out always is one I plan on having this week when I am at the DR....

Thanks for replying. It could be just me. Who knows.
I'm hoping it will soon not be an issue. And that it's just an adjustment.
From the looks of your numbers it is working well for you.
;-). I hope and pray it agrees with me. Have an apt soon to get my blood drawn
to see how well it goes.

That is something you should bring up to your doctor at your next visit. There are a lot of imbalances that can make you tired. For me it was mainly caused by an OI that I have and without medication, I don't function. I can't honestly say that Complera doesn't contribute to it because I had CFS before I started Complera. Work with your doctor and they'll get you straightened out.
