« on: April 18, 2020, 06:17:15 pm »
i had protected anal sex with a guy. it was very rough and i noticed i was bleeding. after that, the guy pull out his penis and he rubbing his penis against my anus without a condom. i am not sure if the bleeding is from my hemorrhoids on the anus  or in the rectum. Am i at risk? what if his precum contact my bleeding hemorrhoids when he rubbing  aginst my anus?

Hiya,

Read your post three times, frottage is not an HIV concern and nothing you mentioned changes that.

Here's what you need to know to avoid HIV infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions. Consider starting PrEP as an additional layer of HIV protection going forward

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

Kind regards

Jim

So nobody has ever been infected from frottage/grinding and it lacks all the biological conditions required for acquiring HIV. Having a bleeding ass did not change that this activity lacks the conditions needed.

Continue to use condoms for any intercourse, no exceptions. Consider PrEP as an additional layer of protection and remember to test at least yearly out of routine for STI's & HIV.

Hello, I had sex with aother guy who is a friend( i was the receptive partner), who told me he was hiv-. We used a condom and lube. When he pulled out after ejaculation, the condom slipped and hanging on my anus. There was a lot of cum in the condom and I have been worried that some semen had leaked out from the condom onto the base of his shaft. I am worried that some of that could have went inside of me. Is this a risk for hiv? Should I get PEP? I am very worried. Thank you for your advice. Is it possible the sperm leak out of th econdom partially and went inisde my anus? If that really happens, am I in risk?  Please help me.

Since you had protected sex throughout the encounter, it is highly unlikely that you were infected by HIV from any leakage upon condom slippage after the encounter.  During the encounter, condoms are designed to prevent any leakage.

Whether you seek PEP is your decision and the decision of the healthcare provider who would prescribe it.  If you are anxious, talk to your healthcare provider.

I think it very highly unlikely that you were infected during the aftermath of the encounter you have described, so I think PEP is unnecessary.

Hiya,

Condom haging out of your ass is generally not an issue, i.e what you posted is not a real risk.

If you keep having these "what if" fears after sex it's something prehaps best dicussed  with a therapist. Also, consider taking to your heathcare provider about "PrEP" (not PEP) as it will offer you an additional layer of HIV prevention going foward, and prehaps some peace of mind.

Hiya,

Slipping out of the condom whilst withdrawing leaving it hanging outside the anus means the fluids were not exposed inside the anus during the intercourse, your partner simply slipped out. Fluids leaking over your anus out of the by design open end of the condom is not a concern.

Now if you would have had to go fishing for the condom inside your anus afterwards that would be a real world concern. If you keep having these thoughts and this anxiety please consider talking to someone one-to-one.

Best, Jim

Dear Jim,

Thank you so much for your explnation but why sex fluids leaking over anus out of the end of the condom is not a concern?

Yes, I have made appointment to consult healthcare provider hoping this can ease my anxiety.

The condom slipped a little bit and the semen was possiblely leaking into my anus. Isn't a possible risk? thank you so much for replying.

Hiya,

As explained, the opening was hanging outside of your anus, not in your anus.
Fluids on the outside of your anus or fluids once exposed outside the confines of the body are not a concern as explained last time with the rubbing situation.

Now. were not going to be doing multiple rounds of answering the same question, you have been provided a risk assessment of the situation from us and if you accept it or not is fully up-to-you.

thx. but i am not sure if there already been semen leaking from the base of the condom which in my anus not out of my anus. I meant before he pulled put, the condom seem already slipped a little as his penis getting softer and the semen may leak out from the base of the condom.

Hiya,

Other peoples questions or fears are irrelevant, also, the vast majority of "Do I have HIV" questions are from people who have no understanding of HIV whatsoever, hence they are asking.

Getting somewhat softer does not result in semen leaking out into your anus, thankfully condoms don't work as poorly as you seem to fear and this was already answered by Ptrk. This like last time seems to be just your anxiety getting the better of you.

HIV isn't a realistic concern if what you posted was your only sexual activities//encounter. I see no reason to stress or test outside of standard routine.

Now ill repeat this, if you keep having these "what if" fears after sex it's something prehaps best dicussed with a therapist. Also, consider taking to your heathcare provider about "PrEP" (not PEP) as it will offer you an additional layer of HIV prevention going foward, and prehaps some peace of mind.

Finally if you continue to post about this it's going to be considered excessive and result in a 30 day ban to encourage you to seek one-to-one support from a therapist.

Best, Jim
