Back to normal

I had a peek at my latest labs and saw that my CD4 finally hit 200 (yay for me). Since dx my goal was to get over 200. I figure that since 200 defines AIDS then being back over it means I'm healthy again. I took a few months to reach my first goal of being UD, 10 months to reach CD4 200. Now I can start on the final one of reaching 350.

Screw you AIDS, I win.

You are moving in the right direction.  Also keep in mind that CD4 counts can fluctuate quite a bit and that is not the only number you should focus on (as you know).  Good news and I know that made your day.

Be forewarned... 350 won't be enough when you get there, either.  It's like money, there's a line between enough and not enough, but once above enough, how much is too much?  Seriously, congrats; it's a great way to start the weekend.

You and I are pretty much in the same boat.My new results came back a couple days ago with a huge jump in CD4 and CD4% as you can see on my signature.It took a year to go from <20 cd4 at 3%   to 294 cd4 at 16%.
 The meds can truly bring you back from the brink of death.
