MY CHECKUP TODAY
« on: July 14, 2006, 04:37:24 pm »
Hello All,
Today I went to get my lab results and see my ID doctor
She did a complete physical, gave me my lab results, referred me to my Gastoentrologist(for my HCV) and told me that the numbers for my Syphilis are as low as they get.
My lab results were
CD4-610
CD4%29.3
VL-Undetectable

Needless to say, "I AM THRILLED"!

Peace & Love to all of you!
Kelly

Ok, I guess I can share my checkup from yesterday. Since I do blood on the day of my visit, I only know the results of that test two weeks hence, so I usually talk to my doctor about the last visit results which are 2 months old!!!! Since I am in a Pfizer study, every once in a while, I get all kinds of tests, so yesterday was like 10 ampules, and urine and EKG and all kinds of other stuff. All is very good. My Doctor said he is super pleased.

In 48 weeks I have gone from VL over 100,000, CD4: 94 to almost all of that term with VL: Undetactable and CD4: 249
CD4% was 8% at the start and is now 16%

Also, I have lost 12 pounds that I put on as I was not able to exercise a lot with AZT and my resting pulse is now down to 42. (THe lab tech doing the EKG got worried about that low resting pulse and went to see the Doctor, but he assured her it was ok)

Now I only have to go for tests every 3 months. I have been able to run 4-5 times a week, which I have not been able to do in a long long time.

So, all is good.

Good for you!!
congatulations  ;D
I am extremely happy for you!
Those latest numbers are waaayyyyy better.

I'm happy you're able to feel like running again!
I read one of your earlier posts a few days ago and you seemed awfully bummed that you couldn't or didn't feel like running lately
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!
Peace,
Kelly
