Bumps everywhere!
« on: April 11, 2007, 06:00:14 pm »
In the last days I have a rash all over my body but especially on my arms, thighs, behind knees, and less on my shins and hands, which is changed the texture of my skin to bumps. If I take a bath or miosterize it gets worse and red and itchy, otherwise it's just THERE in the same color as my skin. Anyone know what the hell this is? i saw the doctor today and he said it's a side effect of the drugs and they I should just take anti-histamine if I am bothered by the itch, but it doesn't help and I am so worried it will spread to my face too. I am taking the drugs (sustiva/stokrin, viread, epivir) for many months, so why now?

Thanks.............................

Dear Dragonette :
the same is happening to me......colourskin bumps , but not so many , red patches, dandruff, sometimes it itch , sometimes do not.( Sustiva , Epivir , and Ziagen).........and children asking me "what is that?" make me feel very embarassed..........but...........as I have learned there are some much more serious side effects than that , and it may be that your body is " borderly stabile " so to speak towards this medicine.........have you tried to find some natural cure for that..........or could a food that you eat contribute to more rash..........
