Isentress in Extended Release - why the hell not?

I know there are tons of medications out there that have the normal version and the "sustained release" or the "extended release" version of them.

I know there's been tons of research done that proved a once-a-day Isentress regimen is not as effective. 

Wouldn't it be great if they came out with a Sustained Release Isentress?

On the same subject, I hear that once your viral load reaches undetectable, people have been taking all 800mgs in one dose, once a day. 

Anyone have any thoughts on this:?

My IDS said no to once a day.

Very small price to pay for not experiencing any side effects.

There was a lot of hope that Isentress could be taken once daily and a randomized trial to see how it would go.  The results suggested twice daily works better, especially for people who had high viral loads.
