Am I a case of late ARS and/or late seroconversion?

just want to get some advise. Sorry for the long post and thank you in advance. I had an exposure with a transsexual, and have been freaking out ever since, as weird symptoms started appearing.

Day1: exposure
Day3: rash and itch on penis
Day15: took rapid HIV test (4th gen), and other STD test. All negative.
Day20: rash and itch went away
Day50: took rapid HIV test (4th gen), and some other STD test. All negative.
Day51: sore throat with swollen lymph nodes on tongue
Day53: Fever (37.5). saw a doctor. prescribed antibiotics, fever and throat inflammation pills.
Day55: Fever subsided. Sore throat stayed on. Quit smoking
Day57: took rapid test (4th gen). Negative.
Day 62: left groin pain and pain in left testicle
Day69: Went for health screening. took ELISA test, HEP A, HEP B and liver function test. Awaiting results.
Day71: Rash on face, neck, and chest appeared. took rapid HIV test. Negative.
Day72: pain in right groin area and right side of neck.
Day 73: Today. Still having the groin pain, neck pain, and sore throat with swollen lymph nodes on tongue.

Have been feeling weak generally, until today. I have been shivering and feeling giddy at times for no reason. Sometimes there is joint pain and muscle ache. And Im having a huge problem concentrating at work. I don't feel like going out, or seeing anyone. I think I'm going kuku...

And I really fear that the ELISA test will come back and saying I'm +ve. If it doesn't, I intend to go for another HIV rapid test, syphillis test and Hep B on Day90. Will that be conclusive then. Just afraid that i'm that 1% that modern test are unable to detect my antibodies.

Unless you had intercourse without using a condom then you weren't at risk for HIV transmission.

You should be discussing your symptoms with your doctor.

HI, thank you for your reply.

I guess I'm just worried, hence I posted in a few forums to get some different opinions, and testing after test. Not trying to irritate anyone really. With all the symptoms popping up, it doesn't help much either. Although I remembered I had a condom, but I was pretty drunk... Hence all this worry.

If you feel unwell, go see a doctor. Whatever may be going on has NOTHING to do with hiv as you did NOT have a risk for hiv infection. Don't think you'll be permitted to use this forum to go on and on about your symptoms. GO SEE A DOCTOR.

hi all,

just need some opinion.

went for massage 9 days ago and had protected oral and vaginal sex with the csw. I think the condom did not break, because I read that when a condom breaks, it splits. mine seemed intact.

9 days now, and I am having some symptoms. diarrhoea, loss of appetite, cough, headache, pain in left testicle, groin/abdominal pain, tiredness, sore throat, runny nose. I am so worried that I have not been sleeping well for the past few days. this is affecting my work. can't concentrate and writing this post during working hours.

I know symptoms are not a good gauge, would just like to know from the people here what was the risk? my symptoms consistent? if I wish to get a test, can I do it on the 14th day past exposure? I am so worried that I want to do a test asap.

Hi there

You had protected oral and vaginal so whatever is going on with you it has nothing to do with HIV.

You need to see a doctor about your illness but please be assured it has nothing to do with HIV.
