i had unprotected receptive anal sex about 4 weeks ago. i do not know if the person is poitive he was tested 5 months prior and was .egatie however he has had sex since so thre is a chance. about 4 days ago i started having a bad headache about once a day that would go away as soon as i took advil. I then started sweating in the night and then a very high fever of 103. the fever would go away as soon as i took tylenol. i went to the dr and tested negative for strep and flu. i was given antibiotics and now i feel fine. ihadthem take blood and do a full std panel since it has been 3 months since i was tested last. i know the only way to know for sure is to gettested but any positive words would be appreciated. i can guarantee u that this has happened fo a purpose i will NEVER have unprotected sex again! and have already signed up with my local aids organization to volunteer. it has made me realise how one simple mistake could really screw things up. i hope that is all that will come from this situation.

The only way to know your hiv status is through testing, a test at three months past your last incident of unprotected intercourse will be conclusive.

Condoms should be used at all times...NO EXCEPTIONS.
