How do you celebrate yourself?
« on: June 21, 2006, 08:40:39 am »
How do you acknowledge and celebrate all the good within you?  What rituals do you have to make yourself feel appreciated?

:) consumed, I was *this* close to writing that. Thank goodness one of us is willing to go there.

I hear you...all!!!   :D  I too enjoy the wonders of masturbation.

Are there other things that you do to celebrate/acknowledge/take care of you?

I take comfort in my faith.  I talk to God, and make sure I'm still walking the right path.  Usually, but not always, I receive signs.
Oh, and when he's not listening (or looking) I give myself a good tug.

I like to pamper myself....do girlie things like go and get a mani/pedi, see a movie, go shopping or read a good book.  I love it when the weather isn't so nice outside (which isn't too often in San Diego) and I lay on the couch with a big ol' bag of Lays potato chips with a good book and read it one day.

I try and celebrate myself in some way every day!

Watching Consumed masturbate himself and then showing him how it should be done.

Then I have to deal with SAE attitude.  There really is no time left for me!

Simply put (but oh so true)...I have learned to love myself.

And it came about in a rather ironic way...that being after developing some wasting and experiencing some uncomfortable rejections (and yes...from other poz guys I mean...and not just sexually but even in friendship contexts.)  So be it I guess.  I can't change it.

A good cup of coffee, shortbread from my favorite bakery and they are to die for,and a brand new mystery novel that i can curl up and read in one afternoon.

I also tend to but quality bath stuff (ie bath oils bubble bath etc) and just sit and daydream in the tub.

Small things yes but they make me happy.
