Adventure??? :)
« on: April 22, 2007, 04:12:09 pm »
So...

Here I am... Point A...  I've been thinking about the life-changes that I'm about to initiate, and have been in thought of my earlier experiences and adventures in life, I find myself in wonder of what is to come.

I consider now, the beginnings of a new adventure.  A travel from point A to point Z, with a willingness to hit any point striking a fancy between the two.  My velocity and trajectory are to become sentences describing my journey determined only by sheer force of will and the kindness of strangers; punctuation and transition ultimately provided by the celestial wonders above.  A new forward in the book of my life.

This has to be the craziest thing I've ever truly considered doing.  However...  I'm finding a profound wisdom in consideration of it.  As in the song, "HYPERBALLAD" by Bjork, I will be allowed to throw the multitudes of bottles and cutlery off the cliff, pondering their demise; all in order to find comfort in home.  My new home.  Point Z.

This is a scary prospect, though makes all fear in relocating bearable.

I relocated from Seattle to Detroit a couple years ago.  While not the greatest city in the world ... in fact, it's close to the bottom... I found that I can be happy anywhere... and still find things i like anywhere.

Good luck to you.

Just remember that 'Z' is not necessarily the end of the road; there's a whole new world waiting for you, but there is also the beyond...and you can read a bit more of it here:
