Kibb,

Symptoms or the lack of symptoms mean absolutely nothing when it comes to hiv infection. The symptoms you are experiencing are shared by hundreds of different illnesses

From what you describe, there is no way you could be hiv positive unless you were born with it - and you'd know by now if this were the case (assuming you're a young adult)

Forget about hiv testing and get yourself to the doctor for a complete examination to find out what the real cause(s) of your symptoms are. They are nothing to do with hiv.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

Well to start off i have been living with fear of having HIV for 6 years after a small exposure but anyway I went through hell for those years diagnosing my self from the Internet please dint symptom search you will make yourself even more sick  searchin for things. I had every symptom of HIV from dry mouth, fatigue, muscle and joint aches, spots on my skin, white tongue, fungal infections, follicuitus, itchy dry skin, palpations, night sweats, blurred vison, swollen glands, fever. So please dont diagnose yourself by your symptoms I did and now I  feel really bad abut how I went around being sad all the time. As of November 14,2006 iam HIV negative its going to take me  some time to get over it having it because I scared myself for 6 years please get tested regardless of your symptoms the chances are the test will be in your favor. Thanks to God i couldn't have made it  without him he is good. Again I say get tested you will be happy you did Knowing is Beautiful!!!!!!!!!
