Had unprotected sex and was bottom (receiving) with someone who is Undetectable.  Was a quick encounter but he did cum inside me.  Is this a situation for PEP

Was this in the context of a relationship? Are you assuming your partner was undetectable because he told you?

Even if someone is undetectable, the presence of another STD can cause a spike in viral load in semen even if the blood still registers undetectable. How big a risk you have had depends on a lot of these things. And, of course, how much you want to trust your health to your partner.

I think you ought to at least consider PEP. But hurry, as you only realistically have a day for maximum effectiveness.

Great that he told you and disclosed. However, you are relying on a stranger to safeguard your health. Evenif he is cimpliant with meds, he could have gonorrhea or chlamydia - which can cause a spike in semen viral load AND often go unnoticed in males.  He could have herpes, or even syphilis and not know it.

That whole undetectable and barebacl thing realistically only works for committed monogamous couples with no other STDs. It's not at all meant for random hookups.

Were I you I would seek out PEP. Your risk might be small, but it's impossible to quantify because you have no idea whether this person was telling the truth, or has another STD which could spike his semen's viral load.

Thanks for the advice - I get what you are saying.  Also, is ER recommended or go to primary physician in morning.

Well, time is of the essence. If your insurance can swing it, seeing an ER tonight would be prudent.
