Looking for advice
« on: January 20, 2008, 01:54:43 pm »
3-07: CD4 345 / VL 53400 / 22.7  8-07: CD4 360 / VL 71900 / 19.4 1-11: CD4 306 / VL 351200 / 20.1

Those are my numbers from my last three test results. I had not been on any meds since finding out I was positive two years ago this February. Many times my doctor has strongly suggested that I do and I have thought of it but decided not to. However he has offered to put me on a trial study, which is available to all I believe, don't hold me to that.

This is what I know: The combo is Viramune and Truvada with the study analyzing dosage amounts, twice a day versus once. The study will pay for all, including the visits, blood tests and actually pay $50.00 for each visit. You can not have been on meds, have to do a geno and pass a screen test, always wanted to be in pictures. At any rate looking for advice and passing on what might be an opportunity for someone else.

You don't mention why you are opposed to going on meds.  Would this study combo be the same one that your Dr. recommended earlier?
Whatever you decide Good Luck.
