Did I or did I not take my dose?
« on: January 19, 2014, 04:49:13 pm »
I have just got home from travels and still jet lagged. I took a nap before my usual Truvada and Isentress dose and woke up 3 hours after my usual dose. Now I do not remember if I took the dose or not. My pill box is empty so it would suggest I did, but I am Just not sure at all. What a mess.

Of course I will be due to take my Isentress in 8 hours now but wondering about Truvada. Would it be ok to skip one for 24 hours if that's the case or better to take second Truvada 4 hours late....

So annoyed with myself now. :-( :-(

we really only need to be about 95% adherent to HIV meds. Missing one dose is not an issue. Don't take anything now. Don't double up on anything later. Just take your next door when you're supposed to.  ;)

Watch out for mice! Sometimes they sneak into the pill containers and take a dose for the highs and vivid dreams!

I'm less into therapy than you. And sometimes its gets scary not sure about taking or missing a dose. But in time the fear resolves, and as said, 95% is probably just fine.
