F-16 lands in my home town at night
« on: August 22, 2007, 05:09:41 pm »
Nothing ever exciting happens here...  A friend sent this to me, and since I am a "plane junky," I thought was pretty wild to see how an F16 finds its way thru the moutains...  I could have told him which places to blow up if he only would have called and told me he was coming...  ;D

Eric we have them around here everyday. There is a bombing range about 30 miles from here and they fly over all the time. You want to see planes, come here. We have Wright Pat AFB. 42 miles away and the Air Museum not even a mile from that. The B2s and the C130 gun ships are something to look at.

If it wasnt for me having no depth perception, I would have tried to be a pilot.   So instead, I drive around rear-ending other cars around town..

Rod, I could just spend a week looking around at this kind of stuff.   Ill bring my tent...  ;)

To get through the Museum and take it all in it would take week. That's not counting watching the planes take off and land at Wright Pat. It's something to see.

Wright Pat AFB is a sight to see, never have i seen so many planes in one place.
Best thing is parking and the Air Museum are free, didn't cost one thin dime my friends.
