Worried about being infected by HIV

Hi,

I would like to gain your attention toward my case and ask for help!

I had sex with a prostitute last week whom I am not sure whether she is HIV+ or not, during the sex i had the condom wore and the full intercourse happened using  condom and i also ejaculated outside.

But my great concern is that while I was sucking and licking her nipple I tasted some salty discharge in my mouth. Now i am worried if it can lead to transferring HIV to me!

Plz help me ASAP !

Breast milk is not infectious for HIV unless you are an infant with a developing immune system … Adults cant become infected from breast milk.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI.Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

Although you did not have a risk and do not need to test for this specific incident , anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

As all of us know, the nature of HIV is to defeat the immune system of the body so it doesn't differ if you're mature or immature and the virus enters body by intercourse without condom even if you are a mature.

So how can you say this virus can enter from intercourse without condom but it can't enter from sucking discharges from nipple into the body of a mature guy?

I think they're both the same.

I think they're both the same.

We know you cant get HIV from breast milk if you are an adult because it never happened, Adults cant become infected from ingesting breast milk, its simply not the way HIV is transmitted. Your saliva alone has dozens of proteins and enzymes to damage HIV and render it unable to infect and your stomach has many more of the same that would prevent a risk for HIV in this manner.

And you are simply wrong … an infant and an adults immune system are drastically different.

What are the odds if there is a scratch or wound in mouth and the discharge come in contact with the wound considering the fact that my gums bleed sometimes after using toothbrush? (consider that it was just a drop of taste of something, i don't know it might be discharge)

And why do some source state milk feeding as a source of HIV transmission?!

The answer will not change … Breast milk is not infectious for HIV no matter what situation you throw in the mix. We do not comment on what other sources say about transmission and rely on the latest peer reviewed science for our assessments.
