Once and while I have the following cravings:

- Peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich, with a tall glass of cool milk. (memories of 1st grade).
- Mortadella on a nice baguette bread... the type that when you go to deli and they start slicing it you can smell it a mile a way.
- A nice crisp salad with a zingy lemon/garlic based dressing.
- A strong flavored cheese.

What are some of your cravings?

1) Meat lover pizza - well, most any pizza
2) Chocolate Fudge Brownie Ice Cream
3) Medium hot chicken wings
and always an ice cold Corona

I guess from reading the above one can see why my triglycerides are running high...

I get the Ultimate Crave: White Castle cheeseburgers. Unfortunately the retail outlets closed years ago here in Filthydelphia so on Friday I bought two boxes of frozen ones -- that's 12 burgers. I've eaten one box so far and I'll save the rest for later.

I also have a weakness for low brow supermarket french onion dip and Wavy Lays.

I'm quite fond of really stinky raw cow's milk cheese.

I'd like to add:
-Queso. Specifically Velvetta and a can of Rotel.

- A Big Ruby Red Grapefruit with Sugar. Cut in half, use a spoon to get the meat then turn the grapefruit up and drink the juice. (But only occasionally due to the meds.)

-Fluffy Biscuits and Bacon Gravy

-Chocolate. 3 Musketeers. I bought a bag full the other night from the corner store. the clerk looked and said "oh my God".

Just reading this makes me hungry.

I crave a something-bleu burger from Red Robin. It has bleu cheese on it, and some kind of sauce that's soooo good.

Fannie May vanilla buttercream chocolates (this is a candy company that originated in Chicago).

A Hershey's Dark Chocolate shake from Steak 'n' Shake.

Speaking of such things, on one of my jaunts to Puerto Rico in the mid-90s a member of my entourage, much to my distress, almost procured the services of an under-aged rent boy with a prosthetic limb. I had to insist that he reconsider, though in the end I did hire his older brother.

A nice long fishing trip to the 10,000 Islands with my best friend, haven't done that since my diagnosis. They have a crab shack there that makes the best garlic crabs in the world. I miss the beauty of this place so much.

battered and deep fried flake and chips. just don't get flake in sydney these days, but still can in Melbourne. awww, i can smell it now.

roast leg of lamb with baked potatoes and pumpkin and steamed veges with lashings of gravy made from the pan juices and corn flour.

poached eggs, bacon and avocado with wholemeal toast, and a strong soy flat white from my new favourite cafe, Scrambled.

this one is a rare craving, but must be satisfied when it arises, pan fried crumbed lambs brains and bacon for breakfast on a Sunday morning. it's hard to source fresh brains these days but i will suss out my new local butcher. he's meant to be good.

and, date loaf. i love a warm homecooked date loaf with butter and a cup of tea. yummy

Darker's post made me realise I could just murder a large bean burrito with sour cream that one used to be able to purchase at the bar (can't remember the name) next to JB's blues club on Water St in Kent, Ohio. This was back in the early '80s.

A woman had a small kitchen set up in the back and she served up home-made burritos on friday and saturday nights. They were to die for and if you weren't careful and pissed off some of the biker patrons, you just might.

Everyone would smoke a couple fat joints at JB's then pile in next-door for their burrito when the Numbers Band (15-60-75) took their breaks. Those were the days!

I've been roasting a Boston Butt roast for 3 hours now. The fat has crisped to a nice crust and the meet is falling off the bone... stuff just melts in your mouth. This is what they normally use for pulled pork.

Gave the sucker a little vinegar bath before I seasoned it up, both my little girls can't wait to eat! I am going to make some dirty mash potatos and some black-eye peas with some bacon drippings as the base.... Sitting here typing this has me thinking I need to make some cornbread too!!

My mother use to make cornbread that had a crust like a brick, but once you got inside it was so moist and fluffy. I still can't get mine the way she use to make it. I like to smother a piece with the gravy from the black-eye peas.

Gave the sucker a little vinegar bath before I seasoned it up, both my little girls can't wait to eat! I am going to make some dirty mash potatos and some black-eye peas with some bacon drippings as the base.... Sitting here typing this has me thinking I need to make some cornbread too!!

David introduced me to Five Guys not long ago and I love that place . Food like that and what skeebo had yesterday are really what I crave and my be my undoing LOL . Sky high labs/lipids and I'm still chowing down .

I'll take the Carne and a Limonatta. Look at those prices, not bad... This is what makes me miss Miami, having a selection of various cuisines is not really an option where I stay unless you like cheap Chinese take-out and they even screw that up here. The fried rice is made with yellow rice.

I knew I was craving something for easter, and I thought it was strawberry wine, but no, its Absinthe. I'm flying high arranging flowers tonight. I had kept a fond memory of drakes pies and hostess pies. Last time I was in the USA I was on my way to a surburban mall and starving. I found Drakes at the gas station. It wasn't vomitous but I guess some things are delicous in 6th grade and not forever.
