What Is It About Jon Cryer That Drives His Co-stars Nutty?
« on: November 27, 2012, 01:19:57 am »
The half in "Two And A Half Men," Angus T. Jones, has found religion, and he is now trashing the show.  He says it is filth and people should stop watching.  Oh, and it is destroying America.  I've never liked the show.  I've always thought the writing was very weak and they did rely too much on sex.  Will & Grace pushed the envelope, but the writing was very good.  They didn't rely on sex joke after sex joke.

Is Jon Cryer driving everyone batty on that show?  If he feels it is filthy, I can respect that.  However, he surely didn't just come to this belief.  So, why did he sign another contract for the 10th season?  I hope he is donating all his reported $300k per episode devil money to charity.

Why does your title (and the second paragraph of your post) mention Jon Cryer when you're actually talking about Angus Jones? What are you on? Have any extra you can Fed-Ex to me?

Jones sure has made a lot of money out of what he's now calling filth. If he gave what he's made to charity (and I mean all of it, not just what he hasn't spent), I might take him a little more seriously.

Ok, I can't really take him seriously even if he did give his filthy earnings away to charity, but at least he wouldn't be a hypocrite.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

because John Cryer is the co-star who has worked in the same show with Charlie  "tiger's blood" Sheen and now Angus "I got Jebus; but this filth has made me rich" Jones. Is the connection that JC drove them bonkers? Inquiring minds want to know. LOL

Next up Ashton Kutcher losing it? ? ?

Ashton "lost it" before he ever joined the show.

That is a very conservative church he grew up in.  His "do as I say, not as I do", current announcements are a bit preposterous for a guy his age.  Hopefully he'll reintegrate and choose one of the paths he sees as contradictory.  His faith, or his lucrative career in immoral entertainment.  He better get off the fence or he'll end up like Victoria Jackson, a laughing stock.

Berta (Conchata Ferrell) makes the entire show.  I have always adored her since I first saw her in "A Death in Canaan" with my childhood first crush.  (Robby Benson).

She is a very accomplished actress and hails from Charleston, WVA.  Kudos for that also.   ;D

Now that I think about it, I might have to google Robby Benson and relive those childhood fantasies.

Modified to add a photo for those too young to remember.  And he has aged beautifully and still has those gorgeous blue eyes.  Guess I'll be taking my shower early. ;D

The Jon Cryer mention was a joke.  Jon seems to have it together, while his co-stars self-destruct.  Obviously, he has nothing to do with that.  Just a joke.

you might be onto something here though Teddy.

Wikipedia says "During the 2008 presidential election campaign, Cryer attended a fundraiser hosted by the McCain campaign and, according to most news reports, endorsed Senator John McCain". And look how McCain is losing it. Is it the Cryer Curse??? ;D
