Giant eyeball washes up on Pompano Beach...

MIAMI (AP) --
It's not that body parts never wash ashore on Florida beaches. But usually it's not an eye the size of a softball.
State wildlife officials are trying to determine the species of a blue eyeball found by a man Wednesday at Pompano Beach, north of Fort Lauderdale.
They put the eyeball on ice so it can be analyzed at the Florida Fish and Wildlife Research Institute in St. Petersburg.
Agency spokeswoman Carli Segelson says the eyeball likely came from a marine animal, since it was found on a beach. Possible candidates include a giant squid, a whale or some type of large fish.

I got lost driving around this afternoon and stopped in a village (in Switzerland) and there was an asian food store with many new chrome and glass freezers, highly lighted, filled with exotic frozen seafoods.
One time I worked a night shift in the Grand Hyatt in San Francisco. I was in my early twenties and I had a colleague a buxom Fraulein MILF with frosted Elvira hair. She had a Beetle and would take me after work to all night restaurants in basements in Chinatown, where there was no menu they just brought out dishes that often looked like this eye, in salty broth with slimy mushrooms.
Also worked at the Hyatt Regency. That John Portman lobby is so trippy!

I would have loved to work in the Marriott Marquis Atlanta, circa mid 80's.

I would have learned to fan dance and hung out at neon lighted nightclubs and driven a brown Lincoln Continental or Cadillac.

It kind or reminds me of one of those magic 8 balls from years ago. You know, you ask it a question and flip it over for an answer ! :P
