Undetectable!
« on: April 08, 2013, 01:55:10 pm »
Just got back from the doctor. Here are my latest lab results:
VL: UD!
CD4: 510 (%30)
It's amazing how quickly the body can recover after only a few months on meds. I feel better than i have in years and my energy is so much better. Also, most of my skin problems have vanished. I'm so grateful to have access to such great medecine and doctors. Its crazy to think that just a few months ago I thought i was on deaths doorstep.

Just thought i'd share my good news with all of you!

Its true , when I kicked Atripla to the curb for another drug I told Atripla its not you , its me and I need a break but I think Atripla really knew the truth .

Congrats on the progress Tex !  . You labs are better than mine in some respects and I have been on treatment a loooong time , so good work stribild .

i know! ;) after 20+ yrs of meds, I still don't have the kind of awesome results these newbies have  ::) ::) After all these years, I just barely bumped over 400 on my last cd4 test. it just doesn't seem fair. LOL But that is the difference from starting off with azt monotherapy and getting to start with a drug marketed after 2005. It's a  much different (aka BETTER) world out there for people dx'ed these days.

I'm taking Stribild, B12, and Vitamin D. I've also quit smoking, cut back on drinking (only one night a week) and have been working out 6 days a week, so my general health is overall much better. I feel like making so many positive changes in my lifestyle has done wonders for my overall wellbeing, apart from these numbers. I generally just feel better than I have in years.

Well, Atripla is mine now, and we're very happy together (although I know he has a history with MANY members of this forum)

Congrats! Funny, my Dr also told me I need to take B12 and Vitamin D as well. He hasn't put me on meds yet though so I look forward to becoming undetectable too. :)
