hi miss p:

i'm fairly new to the forums and although our paths have not yet crossed here, i wanted to wish you a speedy recovery.

an aside, i've really enjoyed reading your posts. your wit and poignant humor have many a time, put many a smile on my face. i admire your "when life hands you chicken shit, make chicken salad" attitude. keep it up  ;)

be well.

I was much, much better as of yesterday.  I finally got out to the supermarket and actually had a huge strip steak for dinner, though I had to wrap up 1/4 of it and finish it later.  Still that was better eating that I'd had for five days or so.  I still have a periodic dry cough.  I appreciate the concern from my forum compatriots.

So I guess overall that was five days of sickness, which is probably as good as someone with no HIV infection.  We'll see how many t-cells evaporated into porcine dust when I have my blood work done in a few weeks.

If you're eating meat, and that you saved some for later:  you must be on the mend.  ::) Glad to hear that you have overcome the dreaded H1N1.
