Firstly, thank you for taking the time to read this.

Two years ago I had protected sex with a girl of unknown status. I did however give and recieve oral sex from the girl without protection. I tested after the 13 week window and had a pcr test 14 days after the incident. negative. Problem is, I read somewhere, cant remember where though, that Each year after the time of infection one could get symptoms of upset stomach and flu symptoms. Is this true ? Becuase this has been happening but believe my mind could be playing games with me. Freaks me out.

Also not so long ago a mate and myself where playing darts, as stupid as it sounds, the dart came off the board and slightly cut his hand(a bit of visible blood). He then 'to get me back' through the dart at me which also cut me slightly(a bit of drawn blood). Any chance of infection?

Other than that, I have behaved my self, protection at all times.

You had protected sex. You don't need to worry about HIV. You do need to read our Welcome Thread.

still,

NO. What you read is a load of rubbish. Besides, you have reliably tested negative for a non-risk event. You are hiv negative.

Keep using those condoms and you will remain hiv negative.

As for the darts question, no way is hiv transmitted in this way. (didn't you come to the old forums and ask that?) Like Matty says, read through the links in the Welcome Thread and have a look at the condom and lube links in my signature line while  you're here too.

Use condoms and avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Two Things

6 weeks ago I had oral sex with a female of unknown status. Felt guilty about so tested on the 5 week mark. Going to leave it at that, as I know it was a non risk event. I recieved oral, and used my hands on her.

This past friday had intercourse with a female of unknown status, with a condom aat all times. But when pulling out the condom was still on but was full of blood on the outside and blood on my stomach.(not my blood). Condom was ot broken. I feel that there may be something to worry about here. She said she was not having her menstrual cylce an didnt know where the blood came from. What could this be?

Now four days later headache and serious copper mouth, what could this be from, many things im sure, but it could also be from this incident.

Guilt won't cause you to have hiv and neither will going down on a woman. Cunnilingus is not a risk for hiv infection.

Your other situation wasn't a risk either. The important thing is that you used a condom and the head of your penis was covered. The presense of blood doesn't matter (and we cannot possibly speculate on the origin of the blood in your incident). We see men here all the time who had similiar incidents and not one of them has ever become positive as a result. I'm not expecting you to either.

You didn't have a risk and you only need to test if it is part of your regular, routine sexual health care check up. Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results. Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL STIs together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with a sexually transmitted infection. Sex with a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Use condoms consistently and correctly and you will avoid hiv infection.
