"The Kings Speech"...wonderful movie
« on: January 06, 2011, 10:24:54 am »
Just saw "The Kings Speech" couple of days ago.  All I can say is wow!!!  I absolutely loved it and have added it to my all time favorite movie list.  The story, the acting, the music, the cinematography, everything about it is just marvelous.  Seldom go to a movie where upon ending, the audience applauds but it happened for this one.  The background is King George VI's speech impediment, but I thought the true theme was the development of loving friendship.  I am going to see it again this weekend.

Yes, it's quite good -- I saw it over the holidays with my father.  You should also go see The Fighter.  I can't say our audience applauded however :)

Great film, indeedy.  Worthy of all the buzz that it's been given.
