My Job...
« on: October 10, 2006, 12:35:22 pm »
If my employer (the law firm) found out I posted this I could be fired.  & to tell you the truth, I really don't give a crap...
As most of you know I do debt collections from home. I call on past due accounts for Bellsouth & Cingular wireless. I have just recently been assigned accounts in Mississippi, & Louisiana. All these accounts are for people affected by Katrina. I can't find most of these debtors and when I do they get mad at me for calling them about their account. Most  feel that Bellsouth should have written these accounts off anyway. I talked to a man yesterday that lost everything due to that tragic event. I am not going to try very hard on these accounts. Let 'em fire me, it's not like I ENJOY doing this sucky job anyway....

Hello Dan,

I can certainly relate to you when it comes to the collection field. It is a shame that there are a number of Americans with past due accounts with not only Bellsouth but a number of creditors. The list is just too long to mention. However, they entered into an agreement and they must honor that agreement unless they can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that they just simply cannot pay.

I used to work in the collections field and I made just around $55K while doing it. If you are not happy with the job, by all means forward the contact info over to me and I would gladly jump in and give a hand. You can PM me.

Other than that, make the BEST of each Day regardless of the circumstances!
