Is this ars Symptom? did i pass the seroconversion?
« on: September 24, 2011, 02:38:30 pm »
I  had sex with a girl. We kept contact, and couple of days, she contacted me saying that she was HIV + and that i had to test.

We were not under the unflence of any drugs. She gave me fellation and our genitals were rubing. I had body fluids on my penis and the head of my penis was pushing at the entry of her vagina and her anus. As far as i know, there were no penetration, at least haven't felt any penetration and she is telling me that there was no penatration, i hope there wasn't. I had some open cuts on the shaft of my penis and near the uretha and probably was on the entry of her vagina and anus, like i said, i haven't felt any penetration. 12 days after our encounter, i had a sorethroat, i woke up with a fatigue ( it is not the way i used to be fatigued, was very sleepy and my muscle were tired), i was sleepy for 4 days, i had chills  and cold sensation, but it was kind of hot where i live. felt like freezing at some point of the day. I had a little rash on my neck and face, a little bit on my back. and a white tongue. as far as i know, i have not felt any fever, but i felt some headache. Sometimes, i could have some hot flashes. During the fatigue, i would feel my feet and knee really tired ( it is a kind of fatigue i have ever felt in the past) a couple of days after, i realized that i had some red spot on my penis, on the shaft. A couple of day after, i would wake up at night, having a little bit of sweat on my body, once i woke up to the toillet, i felt like freezing, i don't know if i had a fever while sleeping. After this, my white tongue and the redish  spot on my penis with a dry shin (white) on it   went away leaving a little red sore on my tongue. They all came together and all gone together. After having all these symptoms, i got really scared and start thinking about ARS symptoms. It is not about the anxiety because i had them before knowing her status and before checking symptoms on the internet. I had a blood test 29 days after our encounter and came back negative, i'm waiting the 6th weeks but i can't think other than a positive result. I have read a little bit on the forum and saw the fellatio does not carry any risk. Would it be a coincidence having all these symptoms or is it typically ars? i'm scared about the cuts going on the opening of the entry of her vagina and the entry of her anus. after our sexual act, i had a burning sensation disconfort in the uretha that went away a day after. On my penis, it is more like iin infection i had before sex ( Candida), what a read, it is an open door for the virus, so what im thinking it must have had  contact with the virus.

Can you give me your opinion about it, hopefully that could ease a little bit my mind

Thanks

You never had a risk and don't need testing.

rapidrod, my symptoms doesn't concern you? i had candida on my penis and my tongue... why i was freaking out is because everything came at the same time and had alot of symptoms, this is why i was questioning my self if something went wrong (about me getting in her vagina or in her anus because i was pushing on it but have never felt really an end)  it is crazy how it came at the same time, thanks again for helping me

No your symptoms don't concern me, they are not HIV related. If you are concerned about your symptoms see your doctor.

You are mistakenly misinterpreting everything that happens to you through an HIV jitters mindset. Nothing you did put you at risk and none of your symptoms are HIV specific.

You should be discussing them with your doctor. This is not an HIV situation. Period.

Thank you Andy, The only thing why i'm scared because i could not see where my penis was poking, so when it was in between her cheeks, and i was poking her anus, i don't know if it has entered a little bit and i have this infection on my penis next to the opening (uretha),

jaipeur,

Your 29 day negative is not going to change because you did not have a risk for hiv infection.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

I'm still scared about all those symptoms, I know you are telling me there is no risk, but maybe something went wrong, cause all the symptoms was really strong and they they all gone together, it's really hard, I read a part of the forum that people are infected and they have had similar symptoms, I have the feeling that it will be positive...

Jai,

You need to confirm that result with a Western Blot test. Until you've also had a positive Western Blot result, then you have not been diagnosed as hiv positive. You could very well have had a false positive antibody test result.

Do not post in other sections of these forums until you have been confirmed as hiv positive. Thank you for your cooperation.
