Real risk from stripper ?
« on: June 13, 2006, 08:11:44 pm »

This is going to sound so stupid of what I did but here it is.  I got a handjob from a stripper that was totally nude.  Towards the end I jerked it myself while she was masturbating herself.  AFTER I came she then started to rub the end of my penis with the same fingers that she was masturbating with.  She continued to play with my cum and rub it all over the tip and shaft.  I came to my senses and left.  I was unable to clean until I got home a half an hour later.

My question is that since her fluids came in contact with mine am I at risk ?  Does the fact that I did not clean for 1/2 hour increase the risk ?

If the answer is no risk even though I am pretty sure this is very risky please explain why and how this works.

I urge you to read the lessons on transmission here. You can get HIV through unprotected penetrative vaginal and/or anal sex.

The lessons section covers the very stuff you asked.

"Many people, especially in the gay community, turn to oral sex as a safer alternative in the age of AIDS. And with HIV rates rising, people need to remember that oral sex is safer sex. It's a reasonable alternative."

Very confused by your answer - Are you saying that what happened is the same as if I had sex since the fluids were mixed from her hand ? or are you saying that I had to have sex to be at risk.  I read the lessons but your response is freaking me out.

Please clarify your answer.

What JK is trying to tell you that the answers to your questions are contained in the lessons sections. Read them carefully and you'll find that what you describe is in no way a risk for HIV transmission.

You do not need to test. There is no need to freak out.

Camaro,

What you describe falls into the category of mutual masturbation. Mutual masturbation is absolutely NOT a risk for hiv infection.

Successful hiv transmission occurs INSIDE the human body as the virus quickly becomes damaged when outside the body.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple! Have a read through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use those condoms with confidence.

And please read through the Welcome Thread for links to further information.

Does anyone else have any input on this - the CDC says it is a risk and the GHMC says no risk.  I am still in need of some additional input on the situation.

Camaro,

Trust us and the GHMC on this one -- there is absolutely no risk of contracting HIV from what you describe.

This site does NOT allow misinformation to go unchallenged. If more people are not responding, then it can be assumed that there is no disagreement.

No risk from a stripper, unless you have unprotected penetrative sex with her.

Yes, we're sure. And the CDC does NOT say mutual masturbation is a risk for HIV transmission.

No one who knows anything about HIV transmission says mutual masturbation is a risk.

Camaro,

How could it be ARS? You haven't had a risk of infection. What happened with the stripper is mutual masturbation and not one person has ever become infected this way. You will not be the first.

Sexually speaking, hiv is transmitted through unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse and rarely, through giving blowjobs. Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse and you will avoid hiv infection. It really, really is that simple!

You did NOT have a risk of hiv infection.

If anyone can provide some advice it would be appreciated.  What is the risk if one woman was using a dildo vaginally for a few minutes and then another woman uses the same dildo immediately after vaginally also for a few minutes as well.

Thank you for any thoughts.

It would not present any risk, in terms of HIV infection.  It could present a risk for a STD, as they are much easier to transmit than HIV.

The risk factors for HIV are ...

Sharing IV drug needles immediately after use.
Unprotected anal and vaginal sex.
Mother to child during or shortly after birth.
Very specific health care situations.

Use condoms for vaginal and anal sex consistently and correctly and you will avoid HIV infection, it is that simple.

Is there a way to make is so that people can see the actual new question?  The old question from 8 years ago is completely irrelevant to the new issue.

Just to clarify, the dildo was used without cleaning it or using a condom in between and was just used on both women one after the other.  If this changed the answer let me know thanks.

HIV is fragile and once exposed to small changes in PH and temperature outside the human body it becomes damaged and unable to infect in an instant . HIV really is just that fragile and would not be a risk on a sex toy ... it would not survive the trip to the other woman .

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI.Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

Although you did not have a risk and do not need to test for this specific incident , anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

I assumed it was not cleaned between use, still no risk.
