Eric Rofes, an author, professor and HIV/AIDS advocate, on June 26 in Provincetown, Mass., died of a heart attack at age 51 (http://www.kaisernetwork.org/daily_reports/rep_index.cfm?DR_ID=38277)

Truly one of the heros of this fight, and one that accomplished more than any other 50 people.  We will miss his forthrightness, and his wisdom.  We were so lucky to live in the same time and space as this very special Angel of Mercy.
