Awesome video. I think the Memorial is amazing, the evening shots are gorgeous with the lights reflecting off the waterfalls.

RIP all those we lost.

btw, this commercial has been running today, and I LOVE it

The memorial's website is here http://www.911memorial.org/

They've expanded the website a lot recently.

There's a new section that allows you to find where individual names were engraved on the memorial -- I went looking for some coworkers and ... when you click on the names it doesn't just show the memorial location; they have added photographs.

Wasn't ready for that.

Sorry for your pain, Assurbanipal. The obvious wedding photos and photos including their children are particularly poignant.

Assurbanipal..For some reason I can't open the link you put up, but it's probably just as well, I have shed so many tears over the last two days, our News Desks have had extensive coverage on 9/11...I think my breaking point was when the lights representing the towers were put on, I had to walk away.

I can't even imagine the kind of pain you are going through or the pain of those famlies who lost loved ones and friends, the pain I feel is one of sadness..but a pain none the less.

In sadness

Thanks for sharing that. Very nice website done very tastefully and beautifully. I couldn't imagine the feeling of losing a friend on that day  :-[

While in NYC in 08 we visited the little impromptu museum that had next to Station 10 (it may have been a FDNY museum), right across from ground zero.

This is a pic of just one of 3 walls which had all the victims photos displayed. It really overtakes you as you walk in and they have a bench in the middle of the room, I sat there for what seemed like an hour in sadness and tears as I looked around at the thousand pics of once happy and smiling souls.

It is still really raw for me and for a lot of people in and around New York.

In some ways it feels presumptuous to still be so sad.
