5th Set of Numbers - Some Interesting Results
« on: March 08, 2011, 12:59:19 am »
So I got my fifth set of results. My viral load went from 66,000 to 310 (pretty good for a month of treatment) yay (all the nausea, vomitting and dizziness was worth it lol). My CD4 went from 680 to 440 (I'm not too concerned about that since that little shit head of a number likes to bounce around). My CD4% went from 17 to 21% - yay!

He is concerned about my phosphorous levels they are at 0.51 way below normal. Hed sai that can be from the medication or a lack of vitamin D among other things, so he stole more blood from me today and is going to check my vitamin D levels, thyroid and some other things.

Then he was reviewing all the medical tests I've had in the past few years and he was like oh maybe it's related to your spinal disease. I was like huh? What spinal disease? He said on one of your previous tests (an xray or something, I like how no one told me the results of this test I had a few years ago) it came back that your vertebras are crooked and something about my spinal fluid. He said it is called Scheuermann's disease. I asked him what that was and he said I don't know that is a Pediatric term. So I googled when I got home and it's a curving of the spine that causes a rounding of the back - I immediately thought that is why my upper back is like that! The rounding isn't huge but I have always noticed it and it explains why I am never able to have proper posture no matter how hard I try. It's not usually serious (I have occasional unexplainable back pain - now explainable!) At least I know why my back is like that. I always thought it was because I didn't crawl on my knees as a baby -  I would lay on my back, arch my neck and push myself around haha.

Time to pop another pill and go to bed!

Ciao
