For you animal lovers out there..Kooni at 10 months
« on: October 18, 2008, 09:08:51 pm »
Hi

Just wanted to share my latest photo's, Kooni and I were outside just sitting back and enjoying a beautiful spring day here in NZ.

The first photo was the day we picked her up at 3 months old...she is now 10 months old and getting bigger..she still has a fair way to go before she stops growing.

Hope you are all having a great weekend.

Hugs

We have no choice, she just barges her way in...and she is hard to stop.. :D

Now that spring is here and the weather is getting better we leave the back door open so she just wanders in when she feels like it..or if she thinks there's treats about.

She's a big pig.  Very cute indeed. She just might have to be the subject of a children's book.....

Jan, I meant to ask you the other day. Is that kooni's winter coat or is she long haired all year round?

Hi Rod

Kune's have long hair all year round and it's rather course not soft and fluffy.

Sharkie..I'll need to talk to my youngest daughter she is very good at writing stories..she has an imagination you wouldn't believe, especially after a smoke or two.. ;)

Jingwah..I'm sure all the animals miss you.

Dixie as far as I'm aware Kune Kune pigs are the only ones with long hair...and they do make great pets, you treat them and train them the same way you do dogs.
