Hey everyone, I had my check up, it has been 14 months since starting on Atripla with a chaser of Bactrim every other day. The Dr. Ran a second blood screen as my white blood cel count was low. it was 2.7. on second test- about 3 weeks later came back WBC was 3.5. My nurse sister in law said that 9 or higher would be good. I have not had a cold in I don't know how long. I go through periods of extreme tiredness and wonder if the WBC has anything to do with it.
Hemoglobin is good. Other than that, I feel okay. The Dr. said she might go three more months and maybe try a "stronger medication" whatever that means. My viral load is undetectable for last 9 months- YEAH!!! cd4 will not go over 200. bumped up to 226 once but then went back down to 198.
SO- I am not letting this get to me, but anybody else that has gone through this have any advice? I want like hell to get my CD4 up.
P. S. I got my flu shot yesterday, everyone should get theres, please!
Cheers, mates
