Hi all, Have been reading these forums for a while and know that insertive oral sex is negligible risk. I had oral sex with a prostitute in Germany. And this was my only sexual contact in 1 year and I have been tested 1 year past my last sexual contact for HIV, herpes, HSV1 and 2, chamydia and gonhorrea and all was negative.
My question: Do you really think I need to test for HIV and STD's agin, or can I let it go?
If so would a eight week test be ok?

You don't need to test any further.
In this case your 8 week test result is conclusive.

I must correct the mistake I have made in my earlier para. I had insertive oral sex[protected] yesterday. Starting yesterday , will a 8 week test do , or is that unwarranted. Can you advise wether I might have put myself at risk for other STD's than HIV incase of protected oral sex.

Getting a blowjob is NOT a risk for hiv infection, protected or otherwise. You didn't have a risk.
You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex with a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.
Have a look through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.
Although you do NOT need to test over getting a blowjob, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.
If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results. Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection.

This has been the only encounter I had. I have a steady girlfriend for the past 4 years and we both have tested negative for HIV 2 months ago. Will it be OK that I let go of this incident and can engage in having unprotected sex with her, or would you advise caution.

If you and your partner are in a 100% monogamous relationship and you've both returned negative HIV and other STD tests then having unprotected intercourse should not be an issue.
Remember though, you will need to be able to talk frankly and honestly with one another about these issues. Communication is the key to all of this stuff.

I will talk over my issues with her. I pronise to level out with her over my indescritions also.
I guess i need not do any std and Hiv tests as this is the only encounter in one year. Am I correct? ANyone
