HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

Hi Ann...

I must say health wise I am doing great.   I am now throwing everything at the emotional/mental/spiritual aspects that I have carried around longer than this virus.  I am so happy that I am not in that darker place I was a year ago.  How I got there is what pushed me to pull out of the dive.   I am happy I am alive and have the opportunity to address my fears on the deepest levels....  Probably the best thing I have ever done for myself in my lifetime.  I will tell you how it turns out..

Hugs always,

Eric

I'm glad you're out of that dark place too, Eric. Kudos for undertaking the work on yourself. It will be difficult at times, but the results are worth it. Keep putting one foot in front of the other - look how far you've come so far!

Good to hear your health is great too. Keep up the good work!

Hugs,
Ann

hugs to you Eric.  :-*

you know I always read and pay attention to your posts. I'm glad you're doing well. Getting out of the dark place is a tough, but not impossible, chore - taking lots of work, and patience. Best wishes to you as you continue moving forward.

Ann and Mikie...  I have always remembered I got my foundations here.   That my very exisitance is going to carry on thanks to the people here.  How I carry on is something I have to choose.   You carried me through diagnosis to the loss of my husband then attempt on my life 2 years later - life does continue.   I move through with my Dad on his move towards the light in the next few months and supporting Mom and realizing how blessed to still have them at my tender age of 48.   I am going to an 8 day intensive course in California in May.   I am hopeful it gives the avenues I have been looking for that I have not found on my own...

I love this safe place and I will always love those who share here, their experience, strength and hope with those still finding their way...  I qualify in "still finding"  :)

Love Always,

Eric
