some advice ! please !!
« on: November 23, 2007, 05:26:02 pm »
sorry for my poor english at first .had sex with a lady .the condom dropped on the floor accidentelly  when I tryed to wear it . then I picked it up and my partener  sprayed a kind of disinfectant liquid wich is used  for skin disinfecting before injection .(after sex i found it was70%~75% akcohol ) . we had vaginal sex lasted about 30 minuts . I felt sour on the head of my cock . later i found a small red spot on the head of my cock (coused by akcohol irritation ). after sex i found the condom stayed intact .
is this  a risky situation for HIV assuming the woman is infected ?
does the 70%~75% akcohol couse any damage on the condom ,i mean some invisible holes .

The condom didn't fail, so you were never at risk.

If the condom had been damaged you would have known it because when it fails it's very obvious what has happened. It's not teeny tiny holes -- the whole thing falls apart.

That didn't happen so I don't see any reason to doubt that the condom provide the necessary protection for you during this incident. You're ok. No need to worry or to test.

Cheers,

tek,

If the alcohol damaged your condom, it would have broken and you'd know about it. There is no such thing as "invisible holes" in condoms.

You did not have a risk for hiv infection.

Make sure you read through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence. Use them correctly and consistently and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!
