Inovio's new SynCon (tm) DNA vaccine showed longlasting and superior immune response in non-human

primates compared to the Ad5 vector vaccine in head to head comparison. The therapeutic vaccine, SynCon (tm), seems almost ready for phase 1, see the pipeline:

The company has both therapeutic and preventative vaccines in clinical trials at present.

Inovio's novel gene immunoadjuvant seems to be moving right along. The first link shows significant immune response in non-human primates:

The second link shows unprecedented immune response in HUMAN phase 1 clinical trial for cervical dysplasia and cancer caused by HPV:

UPENN has picked up the novel approach as a possible therapeutic for HIV and has completed the IND with the next step being phase 1 clinical trial for therapeutic hiv vaccine. See pipeline:
