But don't fret, maybe one of our multitude of highly venomous native animals will get the fucker.

Keep your fingers crossed, Matty could be right. There are more poisonous critters there than anywhere else in the world.   Cristy

Nah, dingoes come across all tough, put in reality they're just pussies. The best a dingo can do is knock off little kids.

Wishfull thinking, Matty. Anything trying to get to him and the other 21 dimwits that have descended upon Sydney would be 'exterminated' trying to enter the "security zone", the 5km long, 3 metre high security fence, "the Great Wall of Sydney" that has been erected through the centre of the city, restricting movement of its residents as they try to go about there daily lives.

Last night, they progressively closed down all the roads from the airport to the city in preparation of his arrival. At one point they were redirecting 3 lanes of inner city traffic down my narrow little street, which is barely one lane wide. hahaha.

The best thing to come out of this has been an additional public holiday this Friday. Yeehah. Little Steve has decided to take up this opportunity and go a man huntin' on Thursday night.  ;D

I never knew the platypus is venomous.

Only the male. Poisonous spurs on the hind legs. My cousin (a biologist) was spurred by one during his honours year. He said that whilst the venom is not fatal to humans, the pain was so bad he wished he was dead. Took him 3 months to recover.

On the plus side, baby platypus are called puggles. Awwww. :)

Tell the idiot there's brush to be cleared in the bush. Just might confuse and intrigue him long enough to run the clock out on our long national nightmare.

The question on everyone's lips is what ridiculously silly outfit Australia will make all the leaders where for their photo shoot.

Play dress the APEC leaders yourself at: http://www.smh.com.au/multimedia/bush_dressup/index.html
