Title: Worried
Post by: worriedsick11 on February 05, 2013, 08:37:47 am
Hello all and thank you for your time.

12 days ago I had had an encounter with another man where I had unprotected oral and protected insertive anal.  He put the condom on me and left a large air bubble that I didn't notice until afterwards.  It didn't fail catastrophically and the air seemed to be contained so i'm assuming no smaller holes.  The problem is this was fairly anonymous and now I'm worrying myself sick over the possibility of infection.  I've been considering taking a rna pcr test at 14 days for some peace of mind (followed by antibody tests at 6 and 12 weeks).  I could use some advice and found the advice on this forum to be some of the best.  I appreciate you time and help very much.

By using a condom for penetrative sex, you don't need to worry about HIV infection.
