How long does it take to get CD4/Viral count after blood is drawn?

I am new at this. Was tested last week and have an appointment Next week to get my orientation and I assume blood test. Can anyone tell how long it usually takes to get my results.

Also I dont feel tired nor many symptoms except Night sweats and oral thrush. I am afreaid that oral trhush is an indication that my CD4 counts are low and i can already have lower than 200. I am freaking out. I havent told anyone in my family yet.

Please advise.

1/4/07 - CD4 = 200 16% VL = ?
2/9/07 = Started Kaletra/Truvada
3/13/07 = CD4 = 386 22% VL ?

It usually takes hubby a couple of weeks to get his results. After the Dr reads his labs she sends him a copy in the mail.

Think it can vary depending on the lab and urgency - when I was in the hospital they got results really fast.  Last CD4/VL I had was 11/27 and results were available a week later - best answer for you would come from your lab/doctor I guess.

Glad you're not having too many symptoms - but even the ones you have are no fun.
